
Dorothy Grebos is an abstract painter whose colorful acrylics can be found in many private and corporate collections. Originally trained as a musician at Carnegie-Mellon University, Dorothy has recently retired from a lifelong career in music, and is now a full time artist.
Since moving to Williamsburg, Virginia in 2003, Dorothy has exhibited at the Glen Allen Cultural Arts Center, The Senate Building in Richmond, Gallery on the York, Rappahannock Art League, the Trellis Restaurant, Prince George Art and Frame, This Century Art Gallery, Williamsburg Chamber of Commerce, Red Door Gallery in Richmond, The Peninsula Fine Arts Center, McGuffey Art Center in Charlottesville, and the Charles Taylor Art Center. She is a signature member of the Virginia Watercolor Society. Dorothy has had work included in three recent publications: "Best of Virginia Artists and Artisans," "Best of National Artists and Artisans," and "The Best of Acrylic Artists," published by Kennedy Publishing.  |
