About theArtist...

Stuart Kerner developed his photography skills while attending Parsons School of Design in NewYork City.

As an art director and graphic designer for major Manhattan advertising agencies and graphic design studios he had the opportunity to work with and acquire invaluable knowledge and inspiration from some of the leading photographic professionals in the business.

After a 45 year career in advertising and design,he and his wife Bonnie relocated to Suffolk,VA in 2003.

Since 2006 Stuart has exhibited his photography in prominent juried art shows such as: Gosport,Stockley Gardens,Boardwalk,Neptune and PortWarwickArts Festivals,Suffolk Gallery and theVirginiaArtists Exhibition at the Charles H.TaylorArts Center.

He has also exhibited locally at the Portlock Galleries,NorfolkAcademyArt Gallery, PhoebusArt Gallery and in NewYork at the DianeVon Furstenberg and Fotofoto Galleries. His work ranges from real-life images with a semi-abstract feeling to those which reflect his eye for humor.
