Vintage Connections Jewelry
My passion for jewelry design began with a class in which a late 1800’s shoe buckle evolved into an elegant, one-of-a-kind necklace. This vintage piece, which once adorned a woman’s boot or shoe, was given a new life and function. The ability to so seamlessly blend the old with the new – redefine vintage elements with modern design – fascinated me! Well, as the saying goes… “And the rest is history!”
Originally from Michigan, I currently live in Williamsburg, Va. with my husband and two daughters. When I’m not creating in my home studio, I enjoy working at the Nancy Thomas Gallery in Merchant Square, searching for great finds and spending time with my family, friends and dogs!

Every Day Necklaces
Juliet Kirby, better known for her Botanical watercolors, embarked on necklace making when a broken finger
prevented her from painting.
She has been fascinated by semi-precious stones all her life and anything that has been melted in the heat
of the earth. She discovered the joy of putting them together only recently. She also loves the hand made
silver beads from Bali, or hill tribe silver.
These necklaces are meant to be worn everyday with sweaters and casual clothes
