 Bob Holland & Ken Wright

The Gallery opened for 2003 by welcoming two distinctively
different local artists: abstractionist
Ken Wright and realist Bob Holland. Wright, a
graduate of Norfolk State, paints acrylic canvases
of bold color and slashing shapes, including an
evocative painting of September 11, which is part
of the permanent collection at the White House.
Holland, a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University,
has exhibited at galleries up and down
the east coast and is known for his carefully
crafted and finely detailed maritime paintings.
